Suffering From The Severity of Expectations
This was the thing that made me want to post after such a long time. I make stuff, if that wasn't obvious. I mean, I don't share much anymore but you know I still make things. Whether its a rhyme or a drawing it always falls short of my expectations. Which is the worst thing ever, trust me. I envy anybody who is content with what they make. I only speak to a few people about this and after failing to meet said expectations at the date of writing this I figured why not use that blog I neglected for months on end. Great timing. Is it arrogance? Like, who do you think you are that you have to create on such a grand scale? Such a grand imaginary scale based on the works of others or based on a level you feel like you should be? I think that's too easy, too surface or maybe I don't like the idea of being that arrogant. My conclusion was to step back and look at it logically. Attempting objectivity. That's how I was able to get up and try again. You do something long enough and you'll eventually like get good, right? I don't like eventually lol. But defeat after defeat after defeat I keep trying. Which would be dope if I was an anime character but in reality it is super exhausting and kinda seems crazy. Maybe its an artist thing, regardless it brought me back here so.

What I've Been Listening To #22 - #24
My music consumption has been slacking for a long time until recently. I neglected it as much as I neglect this blog (ha ha.) That could explain a lot but I had to make new playlist for myself so I figured I'd put them here too.
I suppose there's some pride I have making these, I like to think it is not the same pride that pre teens and teenagers in the myspace era by putting songs made others on their profiles to speak for them. I am aware there is a high probability I could be wrong about this lol but whatever. I couldn't draw or rather I didn't like what I was drawing so I ran back here. I had to do something, you know. But, like I was saying I like having all that music in one list and having different ones that I can look through and see what vibe I was on or rediscover things in this fast paced consumption era I find myself in. Too many words to say I like putting things together.
